Does anyone still remember Alexey Schevid? The elegant Russian magician back then.
Alexey Shved was born in Belgorod, the capital of Belgorod State, Russia in December 1988. He is 6 feet 6 inches (198 cm) tall and plays as No. 1 (PG point guard). In July 2012, Schevid, who had been playing for five seasons in CSKA and Dynamo, signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves to enter the NBA as a free agent.
Schauder has played in the NBA for three seasons, and has played for four teams, the Timberwolves (2012-2014), the 76ers (2014), the Rockets (2014-2015) and the Knicks (2015). He has played in a total of 182 games in his NBA career, including 25 of which have won the starting opportunities, averaging 18.0 minutes per game, scoring 7.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks, and has no chance to play in the playoffs.

On March 12, 2015, in the New York Knicks' away game against the Los Angeles Lakers 101:94, Schavid started for 33 minutes, contributing 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists, and 11 rebounds also set Schavid's NBA career single-game record. On March 20, 2015, in the New York Knicks' away game losing to the Philadelphia 76ers, Schevid started for 35 minutes, made 8 of 14 shots (7 of 8 three-pointers), and made 2 free throws, scoring his NBA career highest 25 points, plus 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. After the end of the 2014-2015 season, Alexey Schevid left the NBA and returned to the Russian League (2015-2023, 2025), and was still playing in the CBA (2023-2024). He is currently playing in Zenit, St. Petersburg, Russia, but at his age, his retirement may not be far away.
