Embarrassing, Barkley accuses Lakers Luca Doncic of "not even holding a chair"

Luca Doncic played a bad defensively against the Timberwolves, and Charles Barkley spoke about that without any concealment.

The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves at home Wednesday night, and their season ended. Before the start of Game 5, the Lakers fell behind 1-3 and had poor defense at home. Many prominent problems of this Los Angeles team were exposed in this series, and the biggest problem was perhaps Luca Doncic's defensive drag.

Charles Barkley talked about the defensive dilemma that the Lakers showed in this round of the series, and he spoke out loud when it comes to Luca Doncic.

"First of all, they need to bring in some more athletic players," Charles Barkley said. "They can't defend anyone, so they have to find someone to defend LeBron and Luca because LeBron is no longer defending much. Luca can't even defend the chair. If Doncic is in better shape, his defense may be better. This is another reason why he was traded to the Lakers at the time. Barkley believes Doncic needs to find a way to make changes.

"Luca also needs to return to better form," Barkley added. "It's a blow to me, but as a player, when it's time to be certain, you can't let others say that. You're an elite player, you're ready to make $300 million. You have to stay in good shape to make that money, you can't be on TV every day, and each of us does that. He can't defend anyone." There's no doubt that Luca Doncic is one of the best players in the NBA. However, he obviously has some things to improve. He is excellent in many ways now, but Doncic has not yet achieved his full potential. If he can return to better form and become a defensive player, he can help the Lakers win the championship.
