Famous reporter: Dennis Smith Jr. and Earl both signed Exhibit 9 non-guarantee contracts

September 29th Mavericks previously announced that the team officially signed Dennis Smith Jr. and Earl.

According to famous reporter Keith Smith today, both players signed Exhibit9 contracts with the Mavericks.

Exhibit9 is a non-guaranteed training camp contract, and it is a clause that allows teams to reduce risks and allow more players to get opportunities. According to NBA regulations, if a player with an insured contract is injured while playing for the team, his contract for the season will begin to be transferred to security, and the team will pay him on schedule until he gets healthy (or pays until the end of the season).
