Funny, Pacers Halliburton had a call with his father after eliminating the Cavaliers

Tyres Halliburton and the Indiana Pacers called his father after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5.
The Indiana Pacers won the Cleveland Cavaliers away in Game 5 on Tuesday night, locking in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Pacers were once 19 points behind early in the game, but as usual, Indiana showed impressive resilience at the end and eventually won the game.
The Pacers were led by Tyres Halliburton, who hit three-pointers in a row at the end of the first half, making the game even more stalemate than the Cavaliers expected.
Halliburton recently made headlines for his father's actions. His father had a fierce clash with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo after Game 5 of the series.
After the fifth game against the Cavaliers, Halliburton did ESPN's Pat McAfee Show and shared a hilarious story about him and his Pacers teammates calling John Halliburton after the game.
"I think my dad enjoyed watching the game at home...I called him after the game and the whole team answered the phone... Everyone was as excited as if they had a free soda until the phone rang," Halliburton said, according to Pat McAfee on X (formerly Twitter).
John Halliburton has agreed with the Pacers that he will not be on the field for the foreseeable future. The Pacers will now await the winner of another second-round series between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics. New York led the series with a three-to-one lead, which will move back to Boston, while Celtics star Jason Tatum was recently out of the game with a serious Achilles tendon injury.
If the Knicks win, it will be a repeat of the second round of the New York and Indiana series last year, when the Pacers won in seven games.
In any case, if New York ends the series on Thursday, the Pacers’ first game against the Knicks will be held in Manhattan on Sunday.
