On October 11, Howard of Warcraft updated social media and lamented that he understands how Westbrook is feeling now. He also forwarded a rumor that "Westbrook may reject the King's invitation and choose to follow the path of Howard and McGrady and move elsewhere with a $12 million contract."
Howard said: "Westbrook should have played in the NBA. Believe me, I know that feeling. But go ahead, Go overseas to earn that money and enjoy your life."
