Serbian player Varisier Micic was a guest on the podcast "X and O 's Chat Podcast" and talked about the entire transfer storm this summer.

"This is the most important basketball-related decision in my life. I want to find a home for myself and seek inner peace. The trading experience is very unpleasant, and I want to feel safe."

"Many clubs are doubtful, but I just want to keep calm and wait. I have long since no one expects to continue to hang out in the NBA, but Charlotte's deal allowed me to relax for about 15 days. At this time, many European teams began to urge me and kept setting a deadline for me."

Micic revealed six teams that were interested in him and denied the rumors that he had talked with Greek giants Panasinaikos this summer.

"About Europe, I did not have any negotiations with Panasinaikos. I have a good relationship with coach Ataman, but their plans for the future are different from mine. Some teams cannot meet my requirements in terms of money."

"There are four teams that compete fiercely, namely: Real Madrid, Tel Aviv Hapur, Fenerbahce and Olympiacos. The Belgrade Red Star also followed closely behind."

Micic also revealed that Belgrade Red Star and Anatolia Effis Sports were the two teams that first listened to him talking about their requirements.

"I have to clarify that I first talked with Belgrade Red Stars, and I feel it is a responsibility to let them hear from me.

I personally have a desire to return, but considering that I was fighting for an important contract in my career, I had to change my mind. Belgrade Red Stars received full respect, just like my second home, and so did Effis."

Previously, Micic completed the signing of Tel Aviv Hapur in the Israeli League and reached a three-year maximum salary contract worth 18 million euros.
