NBA Draft: The Wizards selected Clayton with the 18th pick and sent him to the Jazz to exchange for 21 signs + 3 rounds!

June 26th. The NBA 2025 draft was held today at the Barclays Center in New York.

The 18th pick in the first round, the Washington Wizards chose Walter Clayton Jr. from the University of Florida to trade it to the Utah Jazz for the 21st sign, 2031, 2032 and 43rd signs this year!

In the 2021-22 season, Clayton played 32 games, averaged 16.1 minutes per game and scored 7.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.3 blocks and 1.1 turnovers, with a shooting percentage of 43.4%, a three-point shooting percentage of 35.7%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 78.7%;

In the 2022-23 season, Clayton played 32 games, averaged 30.3 minutes per game and scored 16.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.8 turnovers, with a shooting percentage of 45.5%, a three-point shooting percentage of 43.1%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 95.3 %;

2023-24 season, Clayton played 36 times, averaged 30.9 minutes per game and scored 17.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.6 blocks and 2.2 turnovers, with a shooting percentage of 43.2%, three-point shooting percentage of 36.5%, and free throw shooting percentage of 87.7%;

2024-25 season, Clayton made 39 appearances, averaged 32.6 minutes per game and scored 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.4 turnovers, with a shooting percentage of 44.8%, three-point shooting percentage of 38.6%, and free throw shooting percentage of 87.5%.
