What does it feel like to leave Milan and join Manchester City?

It was really hard to leave Milan because I had a really great relationship with everyone there. Whether it’s fans, teammates or staff… it all makes my departure emotionally difficult. But...

But then Manchester City came knocking, and from a competitive sports perspective, it was the best decision for me.

Is the transfer from Milan to Manchester City just a progress on the Champions League level?

If we look at the performance of these two clubs over the past few years, I think this is an improvement from all angles. Just look at the number of trophys they have lifted in recent years. And there is a great coach here, let’s take a look at the team of players that the club has. I have a deep relationship with Milan, but some opportunities are only once in my life...

In order to fill the vacancy you left, the club has introduced as many as four midfielders, including Ashari, Rabiot, Richi and Modric in one go. They know that this vacancy is irreparable...

I don't know if they signed so many midfielders just because I left. The club has brought in many capable midfielders and I hope they can do their best to bring Milan back to where it should be: into the Champions League and fight to win the trophy.

After a great start to the season, can Milan win the league title now?

Of course. Milan has formed an excellent team and I sincerely hope they can win the Serie A championship.
