Jamaica continues to recruit soldiers, or add 3 more players, totaling 7 NBA players

On June 10, according to multiple media reports, Raptors All-Star Scotty Barnes, Pistons center Isaiah Stewart, and Spurs guard Devin Vassel are negotiating with the Jamaica national basketball team to plan to represent the country in international competitions.

If the three eventually join, the Jamaican men's basketball team will have at least 7 active NBA players, becoming a new force that cannot be ignored in the American basketball world!

At present, the NBA players confirmed or close to recruitment by the Jamaica Men's Basketball Team include:

Norman Powell (Clippers) - averaging 21.9 points and 42.2% from three-point shooting

Amen Thompson (Rockets) - a member of the best defensive team, averaging 14.1 points and 8.2 rebounds

Osar Thompson (Pistols) - a defensive champion, averaging 10.1 points and 5.1 rebounds

Scotty Barn S (Raptors) - All-Star forward, All-Round Warriors

Isaiah Stewart (Pistols) - Tough inside, averaged 11.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game

Devin Vassel (Spurs) - High-quality 3D, averaged 16.2 points per game

Josh Minnot (Timberwolves) - Defensive forward line

If this lineup is formed, the Jamaican men's basketball team will have the strength to compete in the 2027 World Cup and even the 2028 Olympics!

Many people think that Jamaica is looking for foreign aids, and it is meaningless.

For the current basketball trend, finding foreign players has become the main way to strengthen the team's strength. For Jamaica, the same is true.
