Warrior Hilde talks about why it is so difficult to copy Curry: He is like an angel, blessed by God

Golden State Warriors guard Buddy Hilder describes the team's absence after Stephen Curry was injured in an interesting way.

The Golden State Warriors fell 1-2 in the second round of the playoffs series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, losing at home in Game 3. It was the second straight game the Warriors lacked star point guard Stephen Curry, who will be out until at least Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

The Warriors held the position well for most of the time on Saturday night, but ultimately failed to throw the ball into the basket at a critical moment, and this has been a major hidden danger for the team after Curry was absent. After the game, shooting guard Buddy Hilde candidly explain why it is so difficult to replicate Curry’s contribution to the team.

"You come here and you're thinking about filling him up; you're crazy because he's doing so much to the team," Hilder said on the 95.7 The Game on X (formerly Twitter). "Believe me, everyone wants to do it, but believe me, he's like an angel. He's moved by God. He's blessed. He's Stephen Curry, man." The Warriors are in a tough situation

The Warriors are now in a must-win situation in Game 4 Monday night, because they already know Stephen Curry will miss the game again.

Worse, his team spent a lot of energy on Saturday's third game, and Jimmy Butler, despite his best playoff performance to date, ended up being slightly underdeveloped.

Curry still has the possibility of returning in Game 5 of this series, but that's far from a surefire, and a hamstring injury is certainly not the reason why the player is eager to come back.

In any case, the Warriors' fourth game against the Timberwolves will be held Monday night, and it remains at the San Francisco Chase Center. The game starts at 10 p.m. ET, and ESPN will broadcast live nationwide.
