Borussia Monchengladbach s new sporting director Schroeder confirmed that Polanski will continue to serve as the team s coach

Hupu News on October 16th. Borussia Monchengladbach's new sports director Reuven Schroeder confirmed at the inauguration conference that Eugene Polanski will continue to serve as the team's head coach.

Schroeder said: "We don't set a time window for ourselves. We have full confidence in Polanski. He exudes positive energy and is our head coach. He gives people a clear and stable impression."

Polanski took over the coach temporarily after the club parted ways with Sewane. During this period, he led the team against Bayer Leverkusen (1-1), Frankfurt (4-6) and Freiburg (0-0), scoring only two points in three games. Currently, Borussia has lost 13 consecutive games in the Bundesliga, setting a record for the longest winless streak in team history.

The 49-year-old Schroeder officially succeeded Roland Filkus as sports director on Thursday. He said: "I was attracted from the beginning and had no hesitation in the decision to join Borussia Monchengladbach."

Polanski also welcomed the arrival of the new boss: "I think it is really great. Schroeder could have stayed in his original position and made money safely, but he took the initiative to choose to come to Monchengladbach. This shows his passion for football and his belief in this club."
