October 3: Due to injuries caused by Dembele, Douai and Marcus Toulam, 28-year-old Crystal Palace striker Mattha was selected for the French national team for the first time in his career. From 2011 to 2014, Mattha played for JADrancy, which is known for his youth training.

JADrancy Technical Director Guillaume Courtaud recalled: "Matta was not a kid who was born to be a professional player, but he was very determined. Apart from his excellent athleticism, he was also a teammate with a great mentality and role model. He always made everyone laugh and was a model player."

"We had a partnership with Saint-Etienne, and after Matt-Etienne's season ended when he became the top scorer at U17, I talked to his father and his scouts at Saint-Etienne. They thought he was not technically comprehensive enough, especially the balance of both feet. So he went to Chartoru, which was a club we had a good relationship."
