British media: Chelsea is about to reach a chest sponsorship agreement with Oracle, the amount of sponsorship is not yet clear

On November 16, according to the British media TheChelseaChronicle, Chelsea is about to reach a chest advertising sponsorship agreement with Oracle.

Chelsea has been without jersey chest advertising sponsorship for nearly a season and a half, and jersey chest advertising sponsorship is usually the second most important item among club sponsorship projects after jersey sponsorship. For a top club like Chelsea, they are said to be targeting around £60m a year in negotiations with potential sponsors, which is equivalent to around 10% of the club's annual revenue.

Industry insiders told TheChelseaChronicle that Oracle is expected to become Chelsea's new jersey chest advertising sponsor. There is news that the contract has been signed. If the deal is finally reached, it will be officially announced after the international break, most likely the day before the Champions League game against Barcelona on November 25, or the day before the game against Arsenal on Sunday. Oracle is an American multinational software company and one of the world's most valuable companies, with a publicly traded stock market value of approximately £470 billion.

The specific amount of this deal is not yet known, but like almost all commercial contracts, it is likely to include a fixed fee that will increase season by season based on inflation, in addition to bonuses related to the team's performance. In the recently announced 2023-24 fiscal year, Chelsea's commercial income was 225 million pounds, higher than last season's 215 million pounds, ranking second to last in BIG.
