It is said that Zidane has rejected high-paid invitations from many wealthy clubs, including a "blank check" contract issued by Premier League giant Manchester United.

According to Zidane's teammate Marcel Deselli when he won the 1998 World Cup, the former Real Madrid coach did not regard money as the primary consideration, and he valued the long-term value and strategic significance of coaching programs more.

Since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, Zidane has been one of the most watched coaches in the world.

Manchester United, which is in a trough, officially invited Tenghager to provide him with a world-class salary when his coaching performance was not ideal.

However, Zidane finally chose to refuse. On the one hand, he is not confident enough about his English ability; on the other hand, he believes that he does not match the club's current development direction. In addition to Manchester United, he was also rumored to have rejected a one-year coaching contract provided by Saudi giant Riyadh Crescent.

Deselli said: "Zidane is not the type of person who works for money. He will not change his lifestyle because of his reward. He will only do things that are really intentional and valuable."

In Deselli's view, Zidane's next possible goal is likely to be the French national team. Zidane has been paying close attention to the development of this team for many years. As the current coach Deschamps gradually starts the transfer of power, this may be the best time for him to take over.

Now, the French team is in a stage of talent emergence, with young players such as Mbappe, Sheki, Dembele, Saliba, etc. rising rapidly, and the team is expected to usher in a new golden generation. Zidane's prestige, tactical vision and control of the locker room made him an ideal candidate to lead the French team into a new era.

In addition to focusing on the football field, Zidane is also making long-term plans for the future. In February this year, he invested in the construction of a Padel Football Centre worth 4 million pounds in France, showing his diversified development ideas in the sports industry.
