DO Exclusive: Chelsea does not plan to rent Jackson out; if he is sold, he will consider buying a striker

Hupu August 31, TheAthleticUK ace reporter David Ornstein exclusively reported that Chelsea is considering signing a new striker before the transfer window is closed - in case Nicholas Jackson leaves permanently.

Jackson originally planned to join Bayern Munich on loan, but Liam Drapp left the team due to a hamstring injury. Chelsea revoked Jackson's medical examination permit and asked him to return from Germany.

Currently, the London club has no intention of allowing the 24-year-old Senegal international to make a temporary transfer under any circumstances.

Currently, Chelsea hopes that Jackson can return to head coach Enzo Maresca's first team and participate in intensive domestic and European competitions. However, they are working on contingency plans to respond to the appropriate offer received by Monday’s trading deadline.

Chelsea are exploring direct transfers due to a lack of reliable loan options, and they have conducted multiple inquiries, including Sporting Lisbon and Danish striker Conrad Hard.

Chelsea confirmed signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United on Saturday, their ninth new player this summer.
