Finally, Nanjing Football Team scored one goal in the first and second half and won 2-0. The back of the photo reads: "Nanjing team - Nansou, 2-0, Nanjing team won. The forward of the Nanjing team attacked the Nansou team's formation area and shot within 24 yards, but I caught it." The signature is: "Cao Zilong, and the date is marked November 10, 1951". Cao Zilong is the goalkeeper of the Southern Jiangsu team.

It is reported that the 1951 East China Football Competition was the first major football event held by provincial teams since the founding of New China. At that time, there were three teams from Jiangsu: South Jiangsu Administrative Office District, North Jiangsu Administrative Office District, and Nanjing City. At that time, the Northern Jiangsu Administration District had five administrative divisions under the jurisdiction of Yangzhou, Taizhou, Yancheng, Huaiyin and Nantong; the Southern Jiangsu Administration District had four administrative divisions under the jurisdiction of Wuxi City and Zhenjiang, Changzhou, Suzhou and Songjiang.
