May 31, Inter Milan will play against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at 3 am tomorrow. "As" wrote an article introducing the Champions League trophy "Big Ear Cup". For many years, people have called the Champions League trophy the "Big Ear Cup". The nickname stems from the unique shape of the trophy: the huge handle looks like two large ears, a claim that even spreads to Latin America, where it is also used in broadcasts and written reports.

The trophy has been produced by Swiss jeweler Jorg Stadelman since the 1966-67 season. From the award of the new trophy to the 2007-08 season, UEFA will permanently award the trophy to teams that have won three consecutive games or have five cumulative championships.

Now, UEFA only offers one copy. Other teams can hold the original trophy within ten months, but must be returned two months before the final and receive a copy. The new trophy designed by Jorge Stadelman is similar to the old trophy, and the production process takes 340 hours. The trophy mold is made of wooden, with 24 carats of gold on the inside and silver on the outside.

The original trophy weighs 8 kg, is 75 cm high and is worth 9300 euros. The trophy can accommodate 15 liters of champagne inside for the winning team to celebrate.
