Manchester United coach Amorin: The team is not mature enough, and B fee bears too much responsibility

After being tied 1:1 by Fulham in the second round of the Premier League on August 24, Manchester United coach Amorin believed that the "Red Devils" showed psychological immaturity in the game and missed the victory.

Amorin said: "I think we forgot how to play after we scored. We are very eager to win, which is a good thing. But after the goal, everyone on the field was just thinking: 'Keep the advantage and win the game.' We have to be more mature on the team level."

He believes that as the season unfolds, Manchester United will become stronger. "The most important thing for me is that they trained very hard this week and worked very hard today, and we will keep improving."

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandez made a rare turnover when he took the penalty in the first half and kicked the ball away. This is different from his usual calm way of taking punishment. Amorin attributed his mistake to nervousness: "Bruno was carrying too much responsibility... He was still thinking about the past in his mind."

Fernandez said referee Chris Cavana interfered with him at the time because the latter hit him before he was about to take the penalty. He said: "I was very angry. As a penalty kicker, you have your own rhythm and habits. He disrupted my rhythm and didn't apologize, which made me feel a little out of control. But it was not an excuse for me to lose the penalty. I stretched my foot too deep and kicked the ball over the crossbar."
