Manchester United official: 39-year-old goalkeeper Tom Heaton renews his contract for one year

June 27th, Manchester United officially announced that it will renew its contract with 39-year-old goalkeeper Tom Heaton for one year.

Heaton is from Manchester United's youth training camp and is about to enter his 20th season of his career. After returning to his parent team in 2021, Heaton has been playing an important leadership role in the team. Heaton, who has experienced, has played three times for England during his career. During the 2024 European Cup, he was also recruited into the Three Lions to serve as an auxiliary goalkeeper and accompany the players to train.
