May 5th Arnold just posted on social media that he would leave Liverpool this summer to end his 20-year Reds career. Liverpool officials also confirmed that the players have notified the club that they will leave this summer.

Maca revealed that due to the Club World Cup this year, FIFA has specially set two transfer windows for this: June 1 to 10 and June 27 to July 3.

However, completing the transfer within the first window period means that Arnold needs to terminate his contract with Liverpool early, and Liverpool has made a claim for economic compensation. Real Madrid has made a preliminary offer of 500,000 euros, but this is obviously not enough to meet the Reds' requirements.

In addition, Arnold will also have to give up part of his salary (about 1 million euros) at Liverpool in June, which will be borne by Real Madrid. For Liverpool, if the deal is completed before the end of the season, it can save one month of player pay.

However, Liverpool made it clear in its official statement: "The 26-year-old player will end his twenty-year partnership with the Reds after his contract expires on June 30, 2025."

With Carvajal returning from injury and Arnold's arrival, Real Madrid's Club World Cup lineup will have two top right-backs. Florentino attaches great importance to the World Club Championship under this new competition system. The team's coach has not yet been determined. Solari is considered a popular candidate for interim coach until Xavi Alonso takes office. At the same time, Militon and Rudiger are also actively recovering, hoping to make their debut in the Club World Cup.
