National Youth U Series Mountain Bike Championship started in Qixing District, Guilin City

From May 10th to 11th, the National Youth U Series Mountain Bike Championship officially kicked off in Wujuan Beach, Overseas Chinese Tourism Economic Zone, Qixing District, Guilin City. This national-level event attracted 117 elite players from 21 teams from all over the country to gather together to carry out a peak showdown of speed and skills among Guilin's mountains and rivers.

It is understood that relying on the unique karst landform of Qixing District, Guilin City, this event has created a professional track with a total length of 2.6 kilometers, setting up technical difficulties such as mountainous cross-country, hill climbing, curves, etc., which is full of competitive challenges, and allows players to appreciate the beauty of Guilin's landscape during cycling. During the competition, the contestants rode among the picturesque Guilin landscapes and shuttled through the green secret realm of the primeval forest. The rider's figures passing by were intertwined with the landscape scroll, measuring the karst landforms with wheels, writing the legend of youth with sweat, creating a unique competition experience.

"This competition is co-organized by many units including China Cycling Association, Guangxi Shooting and Archery Development Center, Guilin Sports Bureau, Guilin Qixing District People's Government and other units. High specifications and beautiful scenery are the outstanding features of this event." The relevant person in charge of the event introduced that the event is divided into two events: cross-country races and team relay races and four groups A, B, C and D. The contestants will use two days to carry out racing through cycling and feel the "fast and passion" between the mountains and fields. After the competition, the contestants can also slow down, follow the wheel marks of the mountain bike racing, enter the natural scenery, and unlock various experiences between the seven-star mountains and rivers in Guilin.
