Official: Bayern renews contract with defender Sauer until 2027 and loans him to Karlsruhe for training

May 30th, Bayern officially announced that it would renew its contract with young defender Paul Sauer until 2027.

Sauer has been playing for Bayern youth training team since 2014. Last season, Sauer made 16 appearances in the Bavarian Regional League for Bayern. On Friday night, Bayern officially announced that it would renew its contract with Sauer one year in advance, and the new contract expires in June 2027. At the same time, Bayern loaned him to the Bundesliga team Karlsruhe for training.

Regarding the renewal of the contract with Paul Sauer, Bayern youth training director Sauer said: "Paul has been growing in the Bayern youth training system since U9, and has accumulated a lot of experience in the youth training team last season to prepare for the first-team competition.
