Official: Dookure will leave Everton after contract expires at the end of next month

May 20th Everton announced on his official website that Abdulaye Dukure will leave Everton after the contract expires at the end of next month.

It is reported that the midfielder has been forever recorded in Everton's history because he scored a key goal against Bournemouth in May 2023, helping the club maintain its position in the top league. He will leave the team after playing for Everton for nearly five years.

Dukurey has made 165 appearances for Everton and scored 21 goals since joining from Watford in September 2020. These included the crucial goal against Bournemouth, helping Everton stay in the Premier League. Dookure, 32, has been offered a new contract by the club, but he decided to seek other opportunities.

Everton head coach David Moyes said: "Dukure has been an influential player during his time at the club, including after I returned to coach. Everton fans will always be grateful for his dedication and key goals. The entire Everton staff thanked Doukure for his contribution and wished him all the best in the future."
