23-year-old Greenwood joined Marseille last summer, and he contributed 22 goals and 6 assists in 36 games in his first season.
He is currently training with 24-year-old Manchester United youth training veteran Demani Meller to maintain form. Meller played in the UEFA Cup against Astana with Greenwood in 2019, but never represented Manchester United in the Premier League. After transferring to Waicombe Rangers in 2022, he is now playing for McClellsfield.
It is reported that after playing for only one season in France, Greenwood is eager to return to the UK with his partner Harriet Robson and two young girls.
