September 19th According to the British media Daily Telegraph, Liverpool women's football goalkeeper Rafaela Borggräfe was investigated for suspected racial discriminatory rhetoric during the pre-season training camp and missed the first game of the new season. The report said that the FA is investigating Liverpool women's football goalkeeper Boggraf on allegations that she used discriminatory rhetoric during the pre-season training camp. It is understood that Liverpool took action quickly and followed relevant procedures, conducted a thorough internal investigation, and handed over the matter to the FA. A spokesman for Liverpool said: "Liverpool Football Club has been aware of a female football player's alleged use of discriminatory language. The club has followed the rules with alleged reports to the FA. The FA is investigating with our full support. We condemn all forms of discrimination; this has no place in football and society. We cannot make further comments during the investigation." The Daily Telegraph learned that the incident was related to a one-time remark made by the goalkeeper, which was considered inappropriate and allegedly suspected of racial discrimination and was overheard by a person related to the Liverpool Club. A spokesman for the FA told the Telegraph that the governing body is aware of the matter and is investigating it.

25-year-old Boggraf then missed the opening game of the season on September 7, with team manager Gareth Taylor explaining that her absence was due to "internal affairs." The FA investigation is still ongoing, and she was allowed to return to training under official rules and sat on the bench in the team's 0-1 loss to the Leicester City women's football team last weekend.

FA Rule E3 prohibits football players from committing improper behavior that damages the reputation of the game, or using threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviors. If Boggraf is found to be in violation of the rules, the penalty she may face includes suspension, fines or compulsory participation in an educational course.

Previously, male football players including Bentancur, B Se, Cavani and other male football players were fined or suspended for suspected racial discrimination during their time at Premier League teams.
