Bild: Rangnick will miss Arsenal vs Bayern due to ankle inflammation

Austria coach Rangnick was originally scheduled to be a special commentator on French TV station CANAL+ for this game. He has been a commentator for the French television station for some time, covering Champions League matches broadcast in Austria.
According to "Bild", Rangnick will not go to North London to commentate on Arsenal vs. Bayern due to ankle inflammation.
Canal+ sports director Thomas Truksitz explained: "Rangnick was originally looking forward to going to London. We wanted to watch Chelsea's game against Barcelona on Tuesday and then report from the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday. However, there is no need to worry at the moment."
One of the reasons for Rangnick's cancellation was to protect his inflamed right ankle. Therefore, Rangnick stayed in Salzburg and gave up the trip.
Rangnick will travel to the United States next week to participate in the 2026 World Cup group stage draw ceremony. The drawing ceremony will be held in Washington on December 5, local time.
