September 2 Italian media Calcio Finanza reported that two transactions of Akanji and Paval were in and out, and Inter Milan lost 2.2 million euros on the book in the 2025-26 season.

For the transaction of Akanji, the Nerazzurri needs to pay Manchester City a 2 million euro loan fee, and the buyout fee is set to 15 million euros. In addition, the club will also have to bear Akanji's annual salary after tax of about 5 million euros (total 9.25 million euros before tax), and the total cost of the 2025-26 season will reach 11.25 million euros.

Corresponding to this is Paval's transfer. The defender will also transfer to Marseille with a loan fee of 2.5 million euros with a buyout right. The buyout amount is also set to 15 million euros. The Nerazzurri can save French players 5 million euros annual salary after tax, totaling 6.55 million euros before tax. If the amount is confirmed, the transaction will bring positive returns of 9.05 million euros to the book.

Overall, under this condition, the two transactions will have a negative impact on Inter Milan's 2025-26 season financial report of about 2.2 million euros. But if Paval's buyout clause is finally implemented, Inter Milan can achieve capital gains of slightly less than 2.1 million euros.
