Japan releases new World Cup home jersey, inspired by the horizon, targeting the World Cup championship

The design of the goalkeeper jersey is based on Asura, the god who protects Sakyamuni in Buddhism. This inspiration echoes the goalkeeper's posture on the court to protect the goal and support the team, forming a visual expression that symbolizes both strength and spirituality.

The Japanese national team will aim to win the world championship and compete in the 2026 World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
