Mid-body: Vlahovic s basic salary is 8 million euros, plus the loyalty bonus is up to 12 million euros

On June 21, Italian media "Milan Sports" analyzed the details of the contract between Vlahovic and Juventus.

Vlahovic signed an incremental contract because he would receive a loyalty bonus in the last two years of the contract. Specifically, the club promised to pay an additional net annual salary for Vlahovic almost the entire year, thus avoiding paying a signing bonus.

This contract is to ensure Vlahovic's loyalty during the contract period to deal with competition in the Premier League that has long shown interest in Vlahovic, and to have high negotiation rights when selling early.

Vlahovic's transfer fee is as high as 80 million euros, and his salary in the last year of his contract is as high as 12 million euros. Vlahovic's basic salary is 8 million euros, and the first loyalty bonus will be added by June 30, 2025 (salary increased to 10.5 million euros), and the second one will be added by June 30, 2026 (total amount of 12 million euros).

Jontoli planned to sell Vlahovic in a brief window in June, so as to avoid triggering the first bonus, that his talks with Vlahovic's agent have stalled since October. Juventus is sure to pay the first bonus now, but will try to avoid paying the second one.

Juventus' proposal continues all other renewal models, but the negotiations start with basic wages, which makes the quotation and asking price gap between the two parties. In fact, Juventus hopes to cut his salary by about 15% on the base salary of EUR 8 million, while Vlahovic is unwilling to drop it below EUR 10 million.

Juventus management can only provide a basic salary of 6 million euros, possibly with some bonuses, which is only half of what Vlahovic earns in the last year of the contract. Currently, Vlahovic has no better offer, only some attention from the Turkish Super League and Saudi League that he is not interested in.
