Neville: Beckham can cooperate with Adidas because I gave him the first pair of Falcon shoes

October 7th Gary Neville declared that Beckham's cooperation with Adidas was because of him.

Beckham has been wearing sneakers from the brand throughout his career after signing a £50,000 contract with Adidas in 1996. He has since worked with Adidas for a number of promotional activities and signed a long-term agreement with Adidas in 2003.

At the premiere of Netflix's documentary "Beckham", Neville said: "Do you know? Beckham can work with Adidas because of me. In 1994, I gave him the first pair of Predator sneakers. This is a true story. My friends at Adidas, I actually did not get the recognition I deserve."

Neville and Beckham played together for many years after graduating from Manchester United's Youth Training Academy. The two became close friends, and Neville also served as the best man at Beckham and Victoria's 1999 wedding.

Netfly documentary played a clip of Neville's speech, one of which made fans hilarious. Neville borrowed the Red Devils' meme to defeat Bayern in the Champions League final and made the wedding guests laugh.

Neville said: "Ladies and gentlemen, there are some distinguished guests here today. Beckham said that the hot girl group requires the entire Bayern team to be present today. Beckham expressed his confusion and asked why. The hot girl group replied: They want to meet those men who can last for 90 minutes but still lose the game."

Beckham's cooperation with Adidas continued until his retirement, and the Miami International team uniforms he operated were also made by the brand.
