Official announcement! Everton signs 25-year-old Irish goalkeeper and plays for Bournemouth for 9 years

On July 15, the team officially announced that it would sign Irish goalkeeper Mark Travers from Bournemouth, and both sides signed a contract for four years. Travers, 25, ended her nine-year career in Bournemouth and officially joined the Toffees. During his time at Bournemouth, he played 82 times for the first team. In the second half of last season, he was loaned to the English Championship Middlesbrough and served as the main goalkeeper. He has previously played for Weymouth, Swindon and Stoke City on loan.

This signing is Everton's move to deal with the change in goalkeeper's position. With Asil Begovic and Joao Virginia's contract expiration, the club urgently needs to add goalkeepers.
