According to the Mirror, former English football superstar David Beckham, 50, has been officially awarded the title of "jazz" at the British King's birthday ceremony this year. This is the highest recognition of the British royal family for his outstanding contributions to the field of sports and philanthropy over the years.

After accepting this honor, Beckham could not hide his excitement: "I grew up in a family in eastern London that loves my motherland. I never thought that one day I would be able to win such a noble honor. Being able to play on behalf of the national team and serve as captain is the realization of my childhood dream; and today, I feel extremely proud to be officially commended by the country."

Beckham's career is full of ups and downs, but always shines. He was born in an ordinary family and worked in a dog racing field in Walthamsto in his early years, with a salary of only £10 per shift. Later, he joined Manchester United's youth training camp and became a member of the famous "92 Golden Generation".

In 1996, he scored a midfield lob shot against Wimbledon and made his mark. In 1999, he was one of the important members of Manchester United's historic "triple crown" achievement.

However, his career has not been smooth sailing. The red card at the 1998 World Cup once made him the focus of public opinion and under tremendous pressure. In the 2023 Netflix documentary, Beckham admitted that he still cannot forgive the harm he has brought to his family. But he stood up again with his strong will, became the captain of the England national team, and led the team to the 2002 World Cup. His classic goal against Argentina has also become the most memorable "moment of redemption" in football history.

In 2003, Beckham left Manchester United due to conflicts with Sir Ferguson and joined Real Madrid, becoming a member of the "Galaxy Battleship" period. Since then, he has also played for teams such as Los Angeles Galaxy, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and eventually retired as the Ligue 1 champion. After retiring, he transformed into an entrepreneur and social activist. He co-owns the Miami International Club and founded Studio 99, a content production company. In addition, he has served as the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) ambassador, committed to global public welfare.

In addition to being knighted this time, Beckham was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) as early as 2003. In 2024, he was appointed ambassador to The King’s Fund, an organization dedicated to promoting community development and sustainable education.

Now, this former Green Prince is not only famous for his elegant skills and iconic free kicks, but also continues to shine in the fields of sports, business and charity with his influence.
