Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce the signing of Dilane Bakwa from Strasbourg, who signed a five-year contract with the club.

Bakwa is a left-footed forward player who appears mainly on the right side. He contributed double-digit participation goals scores every full season in French professional football.

Bakwa joined the Bordeaux youth training camp at the age of 13 and signed his first professional contract with Girontes in May 2019. In the summer of 2023, he transferred to Alsace club Strasbourg. The 23-year-old made a total of 71 appearances for Strasbourg, scoring 12 goals and contributing an impressive 21 assists.

The team coached by Liam Rosennier was very successful in the 2024-25 season. Bacwa made 31 appearances throughout the season, helping Strasbourg ranked seventh in Ligue 1 and qualifying for the European Union. .

At the beginning of the 2025-26 season, Bakwa continued his outstanding form, contributing 3 assists and scoring 1 goal in the first three league rounds. In terms of international competitions, Bacwa made his first appearance for the French U21 in September 2024 and has made 6 appearances for the French U21.
