Spain s 21-year-old wing Jodi Rodriguez announces commitment to join the NCAA University of Cincinnati

Cincinnati men's basketball coach Wes Miller announced the signing of Spanish wing Jordi Rodriguez.

Rodriguez, 6-6 (1.98 meters), was born in April 2004, from Barcelona, Spain. He helped Spain win the U19 Men's Basketball World Cup in 2023. He averaged 13.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game, with a three-point shooting percentage of 40%, and was selected for the best five-man team in the tournament.

Rodriguez will be gathered at the University of Cincinnati with fellow Spanish striker Baba Miller. The two are currently representing the Spanish national team in the summer game, and his joining has increased the Pandas' roster in 2025-26 to 15 players.

‌Rodriguez played for Joventut Badalona and Grupo Ureta Tizona Burgos last season in Spain's Spanish ACB and Primera FEB leagues, averaging 8.3 points and 2.7 rebounds and shooting 41.5% from the field, and in a game in May this year, he scored 25 points and made 7 of 11 three-pointers.
